THE SABBATH DAY OF REST

1. The Sabbath Day of rest,
To us has come again;
Its tranquil hours ever blest,
A gift it is for man.

2. Oh, Sabbath day so bright,
Bring light to eager hearts;
With blessings free from care and toil,
To all it will impart.

3. A Sabbath day of peace,
Grant unto us thy light;
That day will never cease,
To make our pathway bright.
