Text Based On Jeremiah Chapter 23 (KJV)
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Sabbath Solo

Jesus is the Lighthouse

1. There’s a lighthouse on a hillside,
That overlooks life's sea.
When I’m tossed it sends a-
Shining light that I might see.
And the light that shines in darkness now,
Will safely lead me home,
If it wasn’t for the lighthouse,
My ship would be no more.

Refrain:
And I thank God for The Lighthouse,
I owe my life to Him.
For Jesus is The Lighthouse-
And from the rocks of sin,
He has shone His light around me,
That I may clearly see.
If it wasn’t for The Lighthouse,
Where would this ship be ?

2. Everybody that lives around us,
They say tear that old lighthouse down,
For the big ships don’t sail this way anymore,
There’s no use in it standing round.
But then my mind goes back to that stormy night,
When just in time I saw the light-
Yes the light from that old lighthouse,
Standing there way up there on the hill.

Refrain:

3. So let those storms reach high!
The darks clouds rise!
They don’t worry me!
For I’m sheltered safe within the arms of God,
He walks with me, and naught of hurt can harm me-
For I’m sheltered in the arms of God!
If it wasn’t for the Lighthouse,
Tell me where would this ship be?

A blessèd Seventh Day Sabbath to all believers.
