Text Based On Exodus Chapter 20 (KJV)
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter,
thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle,
nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Hail To The Sabbath Day!
1.
Hail to the Sabbath day!
The day divinely given,
When men to God their homage pay,
and earth draws near to heaven.
2.
Lord, in these sacred hours,
within Thy courts we bend,
And bless Thy love, and own Thy power,
our Father and our Friend.
3.
Thy temple is the arch-
of yon unmeasured sky;
Thy Sabbath, the stupendous march-
of vast eternity.
4.
Lord, may this Sabbath day-
dawn on Thy servants’ sight;
And purer worship may we pay-
with heaven’s unclouded light.
A blessèd Seventh Day Sabbath, to all believers.
In the Son’s Name - For the Father’s glory.
