Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Lyrics/Verses/Key/v4/C/
Father In Heaven, We Wait
1.
Father in heav’n, we wait before Thy face,
grant us, we pray, Thy presence in this place;
Send down to longing hearts who seek Thee here-
the message of Thy love which knows no fear.
2.
Grant us the tongues of fire that fell of old,
the vision clear that made Thy prophets bold,
The open mind, the high and pure intent,
the strenuous will on noble service bent.
3.
Grant us amid the shadows of our years-
the inner peace that conquers grief and tears;
Teach us the holy secret Jesus saw,
the soul’s be atitude, the perfect law.
4.
O living God, we need Thy help and power-
to consecrate the purpose of this hour;
Grant us the shield of faith, the sword of light;
then send us forth to battle for the right.
A blessèd Weekly Seventh Day (Saturday) Sabbath,
to all true believers.
