- He was admired and loved by all!
- He was kind/devoted/wise/and forthright.
- He touched the hearts of everyone he met.
- He had many interests!
The three most important were:
- Teaching the TRUE WORD of
The God of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob (Israel)
to the entire world!
- Devotion to his own entire family!
- Working/teaching at the SBS Feast Camp site;
meditating, and in prayer to our
Heavenly Father!
- In a world where most people put their own rights
in the
forefront; he thought only of his responsibility
and duty to others.
He was a tireless worker, lenient
with others, ruthless with himself.
He had high moral standards. He was
always grateful for what you did for him.
The Good News!
“God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there
shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
(Revelation 21: 1-4)
Our beloved Elder: David B. Loughran will rest in
complete peace
until the resurrection of the dead at our
Saviour’s return
to earth!
So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put
on immortality, then shall be brought
to pass the saying that is written,
Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave,
where is thy victory?
1 Corinthians 15: 54-55
Asleep in Jesus!
Until we meet again, in the resurrection!
Readings
(John 14: 1-3) (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18)
- John 14: 1: “Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in
God, believe also in me.
2: In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be
also.”
- I Thessalonians 4: 13: “But I would not
have you to be
ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep,
that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
them which are asleep.
16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall
we ever be with the Lord.
18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
